Ken Shepherd is the founder of JobReady and remains active in the business today. Following a background in the military and engineering, in 1992, Ken developed and commissioned the first computerised Labour Market Program system called JobReady. In 1997, following the privatisation of the Commonwealth Employment Service (CES), Ken focused full-time on the development of a suite of software products for the employment and training services industry and, together with his partner Marc Washbourne, has grown the JobReady company providing IT platforms and technical expertise in data administration for the Employment Services and VET sectors throughout Australia.

Marc WashbourneManaging Director
Marc Washbourne has been working with JobReady since 1999. Marc is passionate about Australian VET and Employment Services and works tirelessly to deliver better technology and productivity to the sectors. When JobReady was commissioned by DEEWR to produce a paper on Streamlining the Australian Apprenticeships system, Marc headed up the team that delivered a report that continues to assist the Department today. Marc is currently the Director of the AVETARS (ACT Vocational Education and Training Administration Records System) software project, which JobReady is developing for the ACT government ready for a launch in 2015.

Tony JonesOperations Manager
Tony Jones oversees JobReady's operations and keeps his finger on the pulse of all JobReady projects. He has worked with JobReady since 2006 when he moved from the UK to manage JobReady's rapid expansion after an extensive background in managing IT projects. Tony currently manages the AVETARS project the ACT State Government and assists in the resourcing and timing of all major software delivery projects.

John D’AgostinoChief Technology Officer
John joined JobReady in 2013 with a background in building, managing and coordinating development teams as well as architecting and standardising solutions across multiple products and services. A strong believer in agile development, he works across JobReady’s entire product suite, developing development best practices, devising quality and scalable solutions and helping make JobReady’s products talk to each other. John has overseen JobReady's transition to service-oriented architecture and a suite of microservices which allow JobReady to produce higher quality software more rapidly.

Chris McMillanGeneral Manager AAC & RTO
Chris joined JobReady in 2003 and has been instrumental in the development of the software JobReady.Active for Australian Apprenticeships Centres. His knowledge of Australian Apprenticeships and Group Training is astounding. Our customers love Chris because nothing is too much for him, and he knows what it takes to ship a solution. Since 2012, Chris has overseen the vision and roadmap for JobReady.Active and more recently has added the management of JobReady.RTO to his portfolio.

John MastersonGeneral Manager Employment Services
As the accent quickly gives away, John Masterson joined JobReady following a move from his beloved Ireland in August 2009. Since then, John has been responsible for overseeing the development of JobReady.Live for Job Services Australia and Disability Employment Services and works closely with our customers to drive productivity and innovation. John is currently overseeing a significant upgrade to JobReady.Live to best prepare providers for the new JSA contract starting July 2015.

James HournGeneral Manager Direct
James Hourn joined JobReady in 2012 as JobReady continues to expand its Student Management System business. James previously worked in VET for many years at both an Australian Apprenticeships Centre and leading Registered Training Organisations. James knows what makes RTOs tick and has provided consultation to assist RTOs in their own sales operations and optimising the JobReady platform. Since 2014, James has overseen the JobReady.Direct product for Group Training Organisations and is highly committed to raising the bar in that sector in terms of adoption of modern technology to drive productivity.

Martin QuinnTechnology and Security Manager
Martin joined JobReady in 2012 with a very strong background in data security, infrastructure and technology across many industry verticals. Martin maintains our cloud-based software environment and ensures the security and privacy of our customer data. Martin continues to improve JobReady compliance, technology and security across the board and is passionate about extending this to our customers. Martin heads up the new JobReady company, Intact Security, offering expert digital security advice - intactsecurity.com.au
