What is ISO 27001?
ISO 27001 is part of a family of standards designed to help organisations keep their information assets secure. Internationally recognised and considered the highest benchmark for the ongoing maintenance of customer and stakeholder confidentiality, ISO 27001 recommends the comprehensive requirements of an effective information security management system (or ISMS).
An ISMS is a systematic approach to managing sensitive company information so that it remains secure. It applies a risk management approach to people and processes within the organisation as well as IT systems.
JobReady was already broadly aligned with the ISO 27001 standard. For over 20 years, JobReady has prioritised security technologies, procedures and best practices that put the protection of customer information from unauthorised access, use, or disclosure at the forefront of what we do.
This update means security management at JobReady has been formally audited and approved for certification under the ISO 27001 standard.
With certification under ISO 27001 all JobReady clients will now have additional assurance that their information is backed by international best practice information security management.
